In 1840 the beautiful brass Petzval lens was invented in Austria. Almost 175 years later it was ingeniously re-engineered to work with digital medium. In 2016, DC travelled to Iran with a Petzval 85 to photograph the Bakhtiari on their Nomadic trek. This is the mood of what he encountered on the journey around the snow-lined mountains.
